Moonchy: co-founder job description review

  • Brief: What are the ideal requirements for a co-founder? Moonchy is a nutritional food startup looking for a co-founder. Alex Plaza is the founder of the startup. She connected with The Rebel Company as she is urgently needed to find a partner who could cover for the position, but she was struggling to identify the right requirements. Co-creation of the job descriptions can be of help in this case.

    • Defining main founder’s role to set clear expectations

  • Approach: To best define the role of the future co-founder, we first discussed essential skills, responsibilities and duties of the founder herself. During the session, we discussed the current job description through clarifying questions. Next, we prioritized essential and optional skills, as well as tasks to be completed and salary. Finally, we drew up a draft which, following some exchanges, Alex approved and started to share.
